Ushuaia is a gorgeous city that we entered excitedly for our next part in the journey across Argentina.

It was a unique, memorable time. We started the visit to Ushuaia with an orientation walk. This gave our group necessary information before we went off to take in the sights, sounds, and wonders of Ushuaia.

After the orientation, the group was given the chance to have a “free” day of sorts. During this day, the group could explore Ushuaia at their own leisure and see everything they wanted to see. Whether the people in the group wanted to relax on their own or taste the local cuisine, they were free to do so. This was a way to let the people in the group experience Ushuaia in their own way.

Once the free day ended, we started up a new journey. This one started off with a walk across a National Park.

The National Park offered trees, lakes, and buildings that wowed everyone in the group. From the moment we started on this journey, we were learning so much about this park and the local ecosystem. We learned about the most important areas of the park, we saw beautiful and unforgettable sights, and we took a trip to the best places in all of Ushuaia.

We only did the half-walk for this instead of the full one. While the full one would have been grand, we wanted to leave time for our next adventure.

The next adventure in Ushuaia was to walk with the penguins. We went by bus and boat to Martillo Island. This is the island where the penguins are, where are group had the chance to meet them and to walk alongside them.

This was an hour-long walk where we learn about the penguins, the local environment, and the other wildlife in the area. It was a dive into nature and wildlife that our group had never had before.

We had two experiences set up for the group: A National Park walk and a walk with penguins. This brought us closer to the nature of this country while also giving our group an experience they are unlikely to have ever again.

The free day that our group had in the city beforehand also gave them their own personalised experiences and sights of Ushuaia. Everyone came out of this with greater love of this one-of-a-kind city.
